Pashupatinath Temple is enlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Next, we proceed to Boudhanath Stupa, which is located to the North of Pashupatinath, few minutes driving distance. Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which was built on the ancient trade route to Tibet. Beside the main stupa which was built in a Nepali Buddhist style, there are over fifty Tibetan monasteries around the area built by Tibetan merchants and the large influx of Tibetan refugees over the years. Here, you not only get to appreciate the spectacular art and architecture of ancient Nepal but that of neighboring Tibet as well. Boudhanath Stupa is also enlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

You can take a short break in coordination with the guide accompanying.

Further, we drive to Patan Durbar Square, another UNESCO’s enlisted World Heritage Site. The square is full of ancient places, temples, and shrines noted for their exquisite carvings. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. There are three main courtyards, a.k.a. “Chowk” locally, so named central Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk in the square. The Sundari Chowk holds in its center a masterpiece of stone architecture, the Royal bath called Tushahity.
